1.About us
A Step Ahead Mentors LLP (“ASAM”, “we”, “us”) is a limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales (no. OC431382), with its registered office at 483 Green Lanes, London N13 4BS. We introduce students to tutors who study at, or have recently graduated from, the universities we list as the ASAM 25.
2.Enquiries and introductions
Submitting an enquiry or application places you under no obligation. We aim to reply within one business day, and to introduce a tutor we believe is well suited to the student. Whether to make an introduction, and which tutor to recommend, is at our discretion. If an introduction is not right, tell us and we will look again.
3.Fees, payment and cancellations
Fees depend on the tutor, the level of study and the nature of the work. Before any paid session takes place, we will confirm in writing the fee, how and when payment is due, and our cancellation arrangements. Those written terms apply to the tutoring itself and take precedence over this page if they differ.
4.Our tutors
We verify each tutor's university enrolment or graduation and speak with every tutor before they join. Tutoring supports a student's own work; we cannot guarantee particular grades, exam results or admissions outcomes.
5.Using the website
The information on this website is for general guidance and may change. We work to keep it accurate but cannot promise it is always complete or up to date. Please do not misuse the website, attempt to access areas not intended for you, or submit information that is false or belongs to someone else.
6.Intellectual property
The content and design of this website belong to A Step Ahead Mentors or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own personal use, but not reproduce them for any other purpose without our consent.
7.Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website, and your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
8.Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the current version will always be on this page. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although if you live elsewhere in the UK you may also bring proceedings in your home courts.
