WHAT ARE WE?
A novel approach to education, combining the ease of access of ‘Online Tutoring’ with elements of the co-operation and social interaction found in a classroom. We provide small group sessions where our students can freely exchange ideas whilst being guided in their tasks to foster the skills needed for their upcoming public examinations and university/career interviews.

We also offer one-to-one sessions across all subjects to help ease the burden of homeschooling on parents in this everchanging environment of uncertainty.

HARRY WEBSTER
BA OXON
Managing Partner and Co-Founder
Harry attended Maidstone Grammar School before graduating in History from Worcester College, Oxford, in 2019. After specialising in Chinese Art History at Oxford, Harry is now a Senior Associate of Chinese Art Research at an art fund based in Hong Kong and is training in Mandarin at the LSE.
Having worked with clients from China, the UK, and the USA, Harry brings years of experience as a tutor and bespoke educational consultant to ‘A Step Ahead Mentors’ as a Managing Partner and Co-Founder.
ELENI ATHANASIOU

Managing Partner
Eleni attended St. Catherine's British School in Athens before graduating with a degree in History from Worcester College, Oxford, in 2021. Eleni acted as Undergraduate Historians' representative during her time at Oxford, and undertook a research internship with the Laidlaw foundation.

Eleni has experience working with clients from China, the UK, Germany, Italy and France and has has been tutoring for over four years. As a Managing Partner at ‘A Step Ahead Mentors’, she hopes to enable students to reach their full academic potential while prioritising their mental well-being and overall happiness.
OLIVER SMITH

Co-Founder
Oliver attended Radley College before graduating from Somerville College, Oxford, with First Class Honours in Ancient and Modern History in 2019. Oliver co-founded ‘A Step Ahead Mentors’ to help address the pressing educational needs of displaced students during the height of the Coronavirus Pandemic.
Oliver is currently a Trainee Solicitor at a Magic Circle Law Firm.

Getting a Step Ahead
BUILDING FOUNDATIONS
Ages 8 to 11 (Key Stage 2)
Aimed at curious young minds that would benefit from consolidating and expanding upon the core Key Stage 2 curriculum. This comprehensive course provides additional practice and tuition in the areas of English, Maths, Science, and Verbal/Non-Verbal Reasoning.
FOSTERING SUCCESS
Ages 12-15 (Key Stages 3 and 4)
For aspiring pupils from Academic Years 8 to 10 that are eager to develop their academic skillset and maximise their potential. Those looking to improve their grasp of the core skills required by all the major examination syllabi across the Humanities, Sciences, and Maths.
YOUNG SCHOLARS
Ages 16-18
Targeted at students from Years 11 and 12 who are ready to take their educational journey to the next level and foster skills that will help them tackle examinations with confidence, and prepare them for university study. This intense course is aimed at students embarking upon their Key Stage 5 studies.
NEXT STEPS
Ages 16-18
Designed for Year 11 and 12 students hoping to win admission to the UK’s top universities, particularly Oxford and Cambridge. Those seeking comprehensive guidance on all aspects of the application process, from approaching the personal statement to tackling the interview with confidence.
